Second, I made my first userscript: Improved Channel Select Menu! This is my first time making something with #JavaScript—a good bit of the code is based of raltsm4k's Floating Subs List—but I'm really happy with it! Earlier today, I released version 0.2.0 which adds a settings button and some new features. If you have any feedback, please share here.
Implemented menu icons in idkbin 1.3.6! They make the UI feel a lot more polished imo.
I also made these a standalone userstyle if you just want those.
Just learned that you can have dropdowns in Stylus settings, and I've implemented that in idkbin 1.3.5! Now you can choose from both of the "more" icons I was considering, among many other new options.
idkbin 1.3.4 is out! This time around, I added a small icon next to the expand/collapse button on microblog posts. Like with most things in idkbin, it can be toggled.
Just released Expanded Federation Awareness! This is an expanded version of the federation awareness tool from Kbin Enhancement Suite in userstyle form. It works on more places and has a unique color for other Kbin/Mbin instances.
idkbin 1.3.2 is out! This fixes a couple of bugs and adds a placeholder icon in the comments for people without an avatar. Before, it was just an empty box, so I figured it'd be nice to have something to fill it.
Released idkbin 1.3.1! This update tweaks the scroll-to-top button, adds icons to the activity bar, and adds sort icons where they were missing before.
Another update to my #kbin userstyle idkbin (now at 1.2.6.1)! The "new comment" marker recently added by Ernest is now stylized by idkbin (mainly to work with rounded edges), and a bug with borders has been fixed. #kbinmeta#kbinstyles
Made a small update to my userstyle idkbin following the recent #kbin update. Colors the user follow & block buttons + some other fixes. #kbinmeta#kbinstyles#kbinMeta
Made another small update to idkbin! The show preview button—which you can use to view images at scale without having to open the thread—is now colored so it's easier to spot and more obvious that it can be clicked.
Wen tryn to do something i never done before , dont wanna hear long winded explanation of how CSS thing works (it doesn't for me) , jsut want solution …
Wat ive tried doing : replicate this view mode for posts with thumbnails , have trouble getting <figure>s to auto adjust height based on image height
A view mode like this something i miss from Infinity app …
I recently did crappy embed of svg icons for post controls , replacing the text (for now)? . i accidentally boosted a bigoted post when i intended to report it . Sorry about that !
I have to start from scratch all over again … coflicted if want to post userstyle right now in unfinished state , sometimes have hard time diagnosing issues . But i really desperate for help ‼️
Comment section margins in particular i have hard time getting to loook how i want (within kbin HTML structure limitations which's whole other worm can) 🪦 they're inconsistent and seem to have mind of their own
