No shit tbh, most of us UK folks often have our first drunk experience when we’re like in our early to mid teens and the normalisation and acceptance of alcohol has definitely impacted this. It’s kinda like most ppl don’t see anything wrong with it, despite giving kids alcohol can literally cause issues due to it.
Quite a different case on my behalf though as I was raised pretty strict in my household and wasn’t allowed any alcohol until in my mid teens due to how much alcoholism ran in the family and my parents being scared due to that plus the normalisation of it too, though didn’t prevent drinking outside of home with those really horrid k-cider cans and me taking alcohol from the fridge that they rarely drank (except beer and I couldn’t take it out otherwise shit would happen and it would be bad) and going out with friends with it.
LOL as if that’s gonna stop them from owning smartphones, teenagers don’t even have that much money to even pay for it to begin with cuz they’re school kids, so it’s always the parents that pay for it anyways. This proposed legalisation is literally not going to do anything.
You can’t download FLACs from this site but I’ve been using spotifydown.com for quite sometime now and the audio quality imo has been super solid so far imo. Really has helped me massively in terms of relying less on Spotify since I can just rip the song from there and therefore have my own copy of the tracks/albums etc.
I’ve also used Psst too as an alternative to the current spotify client on my laptop and that’s been also great too, much more lightweight than the main client, but unfortunately premium is a must if you want to fully use it though ;-;

I heard Taotronics earbuds are supposed to be super good esp for audio quality at a decently affordable price as well in comparison to other affordable ear buds for that price.
I use both protonmail and tutanota atm. Had good experiences so far tbh! But for those I know that are truly dedicated to the foss lifestyle, most I know either self host their email service or use something like posteo/distroot. Some I know use riseup as well but I think it’s propertiary I think but have a huge emphasis on privacy though and being very anti corporate.
I should think so, though honestly I have not gotten any spam from protonmail/tutanota ever since I switched over from gmail years back and I’ve only gotten emails that’s I’ve signed up to or that I know are relevant to me aka important emails.
Services like gmail survive by spying on your emails in relation to also having ads on their services, hence why you get so many emails and junk you don’t remember signing up on the promotions tab, despite gmail is supposed to be well renowned for “anti-spam” whilst also not being totally private whatsoever cuz of it. It’s all just a cover tbh esp with top free mail providers.
People honestly need to start using alternatives to Discord fr esp as the app just keep getting more and more shittier in use as time goes on, plus nitro and the fact you gotta pay for themes etc is such a scam tbh
Pride should stem from good personal decisions or accomplishments given one's situation and life circumstances. Being born somewhere isn't a decision nor an accomplishment.
So I shouldn’t proud of my personal identity and my roots? Which literally plays a huge part of who I am today and especially, where I was brought up cuz without it, I wouldn’t be me and I wouldn’t have an identity without it.
If maybe teachers were paid a lot better, many teachers wouldn’t be forced to do things like this but it does seem the teacher is enjoying what’s she’s doing atm, so I would say that’s a big win tbh.
Still, Teachers are way underpaid for what they do tbh and get way too much shit for the things they have to put through.
And there’s me, I found both really interesting at school and throughly enjoyed it way more than geography, which was the case with me at school, but studying at home has been far more interesting in comparison o.o
Managed to get myself referred to a psychiatrist/psychotherapists for my complex issues after having previously done counselling/CBT with very little help in effectiveness of my emotional wellbeing due to having a complex past. Honestly can’t really believe it’s taken for me to get health insurance to be able to get help for it after having tried to get help via state healthcare but they’re entirely useless and only offer counselling/cbt within short terms and discharge you if they can’t help you anymore ;-;
It’s been such a slow process and it’s had a huge effect on my university education negatively, due to it but honestly I’ve haven’t felt more optimistic than ever tbh despite having days where it does get difficult.
As someone who is mixed race, I felt this so much ;-;
Even worse when ppl of your generation (gen z) try to make you out as a completely white girl cuz of growing up some what privileged (even despite them knowing that you grew up in a very intensively abusive environment)
Like as if I had a choice in being born lol
It’s like I just can’t win and I’ll never be able to fit in anywhere cuz of these labels and standards ppl have to determine if your mixed race or not and it’s a literal form of ancestral erasure, which is just purely disrespectful and out right offensive imo.

I'm looking for easy and cheap options for lunches on weekdays. I mostly eat deli sandwiches and hot dogs right now and I always feel like shit after eating them. I think I need something healthier but I don't have time over my lunch hour to cook anything too fancy. What do you all do for reliable healthy easy lunches?
I normally eat omelette and rice for lunch, with rice pre made from the night before but you can always quicken with packet rice if you don’t have the time to cook rice and pre mix eggs to quicken the preparation time and just add the seasonings you normally add to the omelette.

Yeah sure, they are deffo trying to flood so much aid by rejecting most of the aid that’s trying to come to the country. Absolutely not an attempt to commit genocide to the Palestinian ppl whatsoever.
