depends, are you or your organization a threat on status quo?
if not, you will probably get your neighbors pissed, difficult for getting employed and other stuff and some harassment here and there, killed, i don't think so.

the black panther party for example, were a threat to the status quo, the had ample presence in the whole country, was uniting other ethnical minorities under the rainbow coalition, heck they were even trying to talk it out white people from racism and so on and on, they were great.

it is about how racism impacts technology and its bias into ai.

for staters when first prompted to generate a image of franz fanon, the ai generated a white caucasian man, only generated franz as his rly was when give a very detailed prompt about his appearance.

in near future, no. based on anecdotal evidence of interacting with west europeans, fear mongering about china has seeped to much, won't shrug off anytime soon, specially with multiple crises and tensions rising in the world and the role china has on the global stage.

my guess is this effect will be seen in the global south, as china is delivering infrastructure and investments in africa and latin america.

is Wine with -O3 and -march=native a placebo?

For nerd purposes I've been trying to custom compile Wine to see if i can squeeze some performance out of it, i pulled out the -g flag and put in its place -O3 with march native. i don't know how to benchmark properly to see if there at least a marginal gain, so idk if it is a placebo or not. tried to search for articles in the...

i searched phoronix and found nothing, they did other programs whenever a new gcc version launched, they compiled a lot of benchmarks with different flags and measure compile time and program performance, some programs gained a noticeable with -O3 -march=native
