Problem with people like Trump is having all the nepo babies filling up the space where actually interesting people would have stories.

Remember getting put in jails and generally shamed worked better than any anti-cheat. Anti-cheat really has become trying to fix the issue of taking the option of private moderated servers away from players

Windows 11 vs Ubuntu vs Fedora 39 vs Arch Linux - Speed Test! (youtu.be)

Even though different Linux distros are often fairly close in terms of real-life performance and all of them have a clear advantage over Windows in many use cases, we can't reject the fact that Arch Linux has undoubtedly won the competition. And now I'm so glad to have another reason to proudly say "I use Arch btw"...

Leaving a battery at 100% over a long time wasn't recommended but I would imagine most devices have BMS settings to deal with this now.

So glad we privatised it really soaring ahead of other countries. To think we could of been the first fully fibre country at one point.

Is all wrestling , boxing matches really fake ?

I mean i understand some matches may be fixed but when two popular players fight would any of them want to be the loser ? And the damage looks very real or is the only fixed thing the outcome ? Maybe someone from the industrty can answer . Or am i missing something if so put it into the comments and i'll edit the post.

It's like live action stunts the stories and theatre is scripted the broad strokes of the match are choreographed with the finer details worked out between the wrestlers and the ref. But you can't fake some of the bumps esp if you were someone like Mick Foeley

Edit: This randomly popped up might be a fun insight

FROM current young adult demographic, SELECT title

(Constructively) What is your least favorite distro & why?

I’ve been distrohopping for a while now, and eventually I landed on Arch. Part of the reason I have stuck with it is I think I had a balanced introduction, since I was exposed to both praise and criticism. We often discuss our favorite distros, but I think it’s equally important to talk about the ones that didn’t quite hit...

I'd agree with Manjaro, It was my first I kinda know Linux distro after brown Ubuntu and Mint at the time it really worked well, but then package desyncing started affecting my installation followed by the first of many controversial behaviours from the team. It's one of many Linux distros that hasn't progressed much in the last few years, like elementary, and the idea it is easy to arch is false when you end up having to babysit updates because testing isn't as up to par as something like Fedora or Mint.

Garuda is a distro that has swung from a do not install to prob the best "Welcome to arch" distro for me. Their focus on tooling is getting up there with Mint & Suse BTRFS manager being a shining program of the project. More so, shows how utterly pointless Manjaro has become and badly managed the project is.

Americans why is budget Bayonetta so fascinating to you?

I tried to add Sonarr to my Plex and I wanted to make an easy way to add series-es from work or wherever so I wanted to use an iMDB list but they didn't have that on Sonarr so I used a Trakt list and (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

...I just accidentally downloaded my entire watch history from the beginning of time. Stopped it by hitting airplane mode. It was at 1750+ and growing....

You can add your Plex watchlist as a list in both sonarr and radar.
