Cool, I played through a few months ago and it was really fun. The update looks really nice.

runswithjedi ,

This is awesome, thanks. Now that I have it installed I'd like to try it. Know any websites to test it out?

runswithjedi ,

I'd be surprised if a gray person with no ears and four short rounded fingers drove up to my window too. I do appreciate the tip, though.

runswithjedi ,

Joke's on you I have a laptop. Now I never have to get out of bed.

runswithjedi ,

Trump has been the plug keeping it stopped up for years.

runswithjedi ,

What the actual fuck? Russia invaded Ukraine. How is Ukraine the aggressor?

runswithjedi ,

Ah, so this is the result of AF, or Artificial Finger. I think what we really need is some AIAF, which I have provided:

runswithjedi ,

Never trust anyone, I saw it.

runswithjedi ,

I really enjoyed it when I saw it in the theater. I'll put it in the list to rewatch. Thanks for reminding me about this one.

runswithjedi ,

Eh, I haven't felt much motivation to dig deep into Cyberpunk. After putting about 30-40 hours into it with a release day purchase, I got super bored and started playing something else. I haven't felt like going back since.

Anyone else? Has it gotten any better?

runswithjedi ,

I expressed a vaguely neutral sentiment regarding a popular video game?

runswithjedi ,

Yeah, I generally view all federated instances. So I saw a post about a game that I put a lot of time into and expressed my opinion.

runswithjedi ,

Why would everything in this community need to be completely positive about Cyberpunk? Isn't it the widespread criticism that led CD Projekt RED to go back and make fixes?

runswithjedi ,

I'm still in disbelief that there isn't a rule against a judge overseeing a case that involves the person who nominated them for their current position.

runswithjedi ,

I miss Looney Toons on Saturday morning with Mom's fresh waffles. Those were the days.

runswithjedi ,

Wait, you can pick something other than asterisks?

runswithjedi ,

DC does have representation in Congress, just not voting power.

Check out this section: Does Washington, DC have representation in Congress?
https://statehood.dc.gov/page/faq

runswithjedi ,

Technically yes, because they can sit on committees and introduce legislation. But with the inability to vote, I would argue that they don't have real control over how the federal government impacts them. DC does still have local legislatures, but that of course doesn't matter if a federal law overrules a local law.

If those companies want to dump chemical waste they should be allowed to! It's helping people! Just look at me: I made $50 for saying this!

runswithjedi ,

What could be happening to make the sound "vip vip vreep vip vip"?

runswithjedi ,

This is so stupid. The economics of paying people to go to college is super simple. People who go to college make more money and pay more taxes, those taxes can pay for a program that pays for people to go to college. There, done, please vote for my bill.

runswithjedi ,

At first I read this straight through and was wondering what a "proud p.s. jerk-off" was.

runswithjedi ,

I like it. Pants Shitter & Proud Pants Shitter Jerk-Off Too.

runswithjedi ,

At least I'm protected in my wooden armor.

runswithjedi ,

I just took a trip through Virginia a few weeks ago. The highway took me through a small town that had signs everywhere that said "Trump Town". I swear the only clean thing there was the charter bus that said "I'll be back!" on it.

But the thing is, most people just want the same thing: food, shelter, family, and stability. They've just had this asshole tap into their perception of exclusion in politics and society. I really wish we would work together to solve these problems instead of making up fictional bad guys to make us hate each other.

runswithjedi ,

This is why people need to focus on both the costs and the BENEFITS in a cost/benefit analysis. Benefits can include reduced cost!

These are the true MAGAs: Make America Gargoyle Again

Will MAGA Republicans Block Baltimore’s Rebuilding? ( www.nytimes.com )

Extreme partisanship, which took hold long before Trump took control of the G.O.P., is part of the answer. It was clear through most of the Obama years that Republicans wanted to prevent good things from happening on a Democratic president’s watch. Under Obama, G.O.P. legislators squeezed federal spending after they took...

runswithjedi ,

One of my favorite quotes:

The Democrats are the party that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then they get elected and prove it.

P. J. O'Rourke

runswithjedi ,

I know nothing about him besides the quote attribution. With that context, it sounds like he's just trying to be divisive.

runswithjedi ,

Please put an NSFW tag on this. I was on the train and when l saw this I had to start furiously masturbating. Everyone else gave me strange looks and were saying things like "what the fuck" and "call the police". I dropped my phone and everyone around me saw this image. Now there is a whole train of men masturbating together at this one image. This is all your fault, you could have prevented this if you had just tagged this post NSFW.

runswithjedi ,

I have people skills! I am good at dealing with people!

runswithjedi ,

This is what I imagine it's like to swim through jellyfish tendrils. Less painful though!

runswithjedi ,

Wasn't Gandalf basically a stand-in for Jesus to Tolkien? Or is that just how some have interpreted the books?

runswithjedi ,

Them: say her name!

Me: Anecdote!

In all seriousness, these people's deaths are absolutely tragic. Boiling them down to a political argument to support your racist beliefs is disgusting.
