Has anyone tried to run a vr game on the Steam Deck and used this app to stream it to the device? Is it doable?

ekZepp ,
@ekZepp@lemmy.world avatar

The idea was to use the Deck to run the game and stream it on my Quest2

Posting is half of the fun. Especially contents who bring others to comment and share opinion and new info.

Bioshock collection is very tempting.

Indeed. The indie are blooming right now, so much original fresh content, cheap and fun.

And i bet that the last month thousands now feels pretty pissed.

[Question] Were can i find a list of Safe Sites where buy Steam Games/Keys/Bundles??

As pc gamer (and new Deck owner) i’ve started to check any good game deal, mostly x games on Steam but not only. I’ve soon realize that there are great site like Humble to use to buy keys for cheap, but also “shady” sites with very low price who apparently sell non working keys or try to scam you. Did we have a list of...

Kinguin for example is one of those site i would like to hear more opinion and experience about. I’ve read different opinins on the old Redead social before. It seems a 3 to 1 situation there. I even buyed a small indi there using PayPal and so far I had no issues. Any experience about this site???

[ EDIT ] MY MISTAKE - I confused the link with gg.deals who give “a risk list” of sites after the official.

isthereanydeal.com don’t do that. You were RIGHT 👍

So basically a bet. Better for cheap indi and old stuff. As I though. There shouldn’t be security issue paying with PayPal right?

They are far too convenient. Considering the price for a “medium long termn” game pc, the cost of energy, the lack of portability ecc. Is clearly more convenient to have a console and a medium spec Desk/pc portable for work. Ofk you sacrifice graphic quality but to be honest i already played most of my games in 1080p on my old desktop. With the console and a “dock” solution you end up playing the same kind of game on your monitor and you also have the full portability. OFK with an AAA game your battery run out quickly but any casual Indi game runs for hour and 99% of them are perfect to play on small screen.

So that’s why they’re giving away all that free stuff. 🤔

Going postal and the Watch series are my favorite. Ofk the books, not the TV stuff.

We’ve limited ourselves to only one game per series, and of course there are many frightening adventures not included here. No list will be exhaustive, but our choices reflect a wide range of looks and styles and gameplay that will surely appeal to the fearmonger in any horror fan. If you find thrills in chills, and crave...

'World of Horror' Video Game Review - Text-Based Horror Experience Channels Lovecraft and Junji Ito (bloody-disgusting.com)

World of Horror is one of the strangest experiences I’ve played this year. From developer panstasz, World of Horror markets itself as a combination of the works of Junji Ito, H.P. Lovecraft, and ’80s text-based adventures. I’m admittedly a fan of all of those things but very rarely are any of them pulled off with an...

Nightshade - A new data poisoning tool lets artists fight back against generative AI (lemmy.world)

The tool, called Nightshade, messes up training data in ways that could cause serious damage to image-generating AI models. Is intended as a way to fight back against AI companies that use artists’ work to train their models without the creator’s permission....

Not very clear indeed. Each column is a determinate image who is been poisoned and as the lvl of poisoning increase the generated images degrade and turn in something completely different.
