Canonical are currently dealing with a security incident with the Snap store, after users noticed multiple fake apps were uploaded so temporary limits have been put in place.
Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! This time I deleted and destroyed my system just to rebuild it from the ground up and to teach you how to install what many fedora-tippers call the "hardest system" known as Arch Linux. Check out the install guide here and have a great day! Thanks for watching!
Every time I try to upvote or boost something, there's a solid 20% chance it'll link to an Error page titled "Log in". That percentage seems to increase the longer I've had my Kbin tab open without refreshing it....
Why would there need to be a signature to every post? According to your statement, any service that provides OAuth/JWT would be prone to this fatal flaw, wouldn't it?
As Twitter ditches its iconic branding in favor of owner Elon Musk's favorite letter "X," its open source competitor Mastodon is once again seeing usage numbers soar.

For any here who are both multilingual and also experience synesthesia/ideasthesia -- concepts such as numbers, days of the week, educational subjects, music, etc. being felt or experienced to have a specific color, taste, smell or whatnot -- is the color, etc. of that thing different depending on which language you're thinking...
As a a multilingual I don't really associate anything with colors...however, for some reason I often mistake "9" for "D" ... in Bosnian, the number 9 is called "devet" where the emphesis is put on the letter "d" ... and whenever I have to type a combination of letters and numbers, and 9 comes up, i think of "Devet" and write "D" instead.
What the title says. I think the site needs to reach critical mass sooner rather than later, and on top of the relatively low activity for now, we want to avoid obstacles to new migration, even if it's small convenience stuff. So, what would make your life easier as a kbin user?...
Most of the communities I'm interested in are on lemmy.world, programming.dev, etc where they have a large activity there, but the UI/UX of kbin is what's holding me here....
If I subscribe to someone I'd expect to see their posts only, but I wouldn't expect my feed to popilulate with their subscribed magazines.
i.e. If I follow you, and you're subscribed to /m/memes, and I'm not... I don't want posts from /m/memes to show up on my feed, unless they're posted by you.
I could reproduce it by closing Firefox on mobile.
Then, after opening kbin.social it would show me as logged in, but once I navigate somewhere else, I get logged out
I received the confirmation email and when I ran the link, it just opens up the registration page of kbin.social. When I tried logging in, it said that the account is not active. Are new registrations closed?
I have had a Logitech G903 for almost 3 years now, and it worked great under Linux. It had smooth scroll properly working with solaar and I could remap/deactivate buttons with piper....
I know, and I've subscribed to them early on, but my feed is flooded with other communities and I don't recall ever seing amything from /m/Apple...
I also just went there and the newest posts are mostly days apart from each other...
So "one of the biggest" might be true for the subscriber count, but threadwise not so much activity there.
Which is a bummer, honestly... I'm not a huge fan, but I'd still love to be up-to-date on their stuff.
The posts in Kbin don't seem to move much the last few days I've been using it, but if I go somewhere like lemmy.world the content is always pretty fresh...
Straight-up genitals. This probably should not be allowed to happen even when a user isn't doing NSFW flagging properly and/or an instance is not enforcing it.
I just told him that, and my pal would prefer it not to subscribe, so I guess he needs to find another way to compensate for his eyes not being shitfucked...
but thx anyway..
PS: you realize how difficult it is to refer to yourself in third person when you try it very hard
well, this one I do like 🔥🔥
However, I think it should be dimmed to a degree where the tokyo theme is still dominant but the colors of the thread still shine through.
