Ublock Origin, i personally also use NextDNS but thats not that necessary.

Mozilla’s stable browser is not stable enough. especially the Android-based one. They are destroying that amazing browser with every single update. Mozilla converted Firefox from a great-promising browser to a crappy, useless browser. Don’t you think so?

Just wanted a warning, Lemmy.World is perhaps worse than reddit at respecting their users (web.archive.org)

I just suddenly found my user over there banned. Not for getting in a fight or breaking any rules, but just for criticizing and asking questions regarding its recent vague Terms of Service. In fact, no reason, warning, or reply was given beforehand, and the admin who did it suddenly scaled to banned, with no reply or anything...

    Is there a way to block all things hexbear on kbin?

    Tried for a few weeks now, always getting "we're working on it..." message.

    Don't get me wrong I'm not asking for defederation. But it's more a personal choice to not wanting to see radicalised headlines. That's why I am on kbin in the first place. Freedom from all the political noise. But the increasing number of Hexbear posts (and others) makes the stay uncomfortable for me.

    Anyone have a solution to this problem other than nuking those domains with ublock? Or is this a known bug that will get fixed eventually? Have not seen anything on the issues page so far...

    Most lemmy instances have the same UI and most people use apps for lemmy…

    Also you don’t have to worry about federation, thats for your instance admin (Wintermute) to worry about. If you want to be federated with basically everything Shitjustworks is your choice

    Lemmy is already past the failure possibility line, we are already to many to not grow over time. Please remember that this numbers don’t represent accurately as we have many spam bots that get banned and instances take measures against bots in general.

    Also some short term loss is normal, as long as the actually active people don’t leave entirely (like from reddit)
